Braving The Cold (Zara Winter Coat)

Winter is still in full swing and other than last year, I don’t mind the cold. I will always be a summer child at heart but there is something about a lot of snow and sunshine that gets me really excited. The weekend up north I mentioned in this post was so much fun and definitely needed. We did not have any running water as the pipes were frozen and had to use snow to flush toilets. Showers weren’t possible either so we went to a YMCA to shower. (Talking about an adventure trip!)Whereas I would have been extremely annoyed about this fact and it would sure have ruined the trip for me a couple years ago, I was just happy and glad that none of us got seriously upset about it and we still ended up having so much fun. I haven’t done any weekend travels to a different state like this since my first Au Pair year and this trip proved how important it is to get away every once in a while although your plate couldn’t be any more full. This outfit has been my go-to as of lately since spring is nowhere around the corner (I can’t believe it is already March!) and it is super comfy.

This winter coat usually doesn’t make it on the blog but is a piece I wear to school every single day. I am not one that is cold all the time but waiting for the bus can get quite cold and very annoying if you are toasty on top but freezing your bum off, so I wanted something that covered my butt.My Tommy Hilfiger Boots are from my favorite shoe store in Germany and without a doubt, the most comfortable non-gym shoes I ever bought (let’s not count those comfy and super cushioned shoes you learn to walk in). What do you wear every day on your way to work/school? Are you on team Jacket or Coat? (Don’t forget to shop the biggest sale on the web right now!)

I love seeing pieces bloggers wear on a more daily basis. Your coat looks so toasty and warm. Hopefully, your pipes unfreeze soon! That situation sounds quite unpleasant although I imagine getting out of the house is also nice. 🙂

        Thanks Alyssa!
I usually go through my summer and winter clothes at the end of each season and get rid of stuff I haven’t worn but this sweater will definitely stay! 🙂 Couldn’t be happier about Milwaukee warming up!
