Hey there!

I am Livia, a 20-something German girl with serious wanderlust, big enthusiasm and a love for dogs and bunnies. I believe in finding an adventure every day and eating cake batter before putting it in the oven!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Find out more about me below & let’s chat here: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Bloglovin’.

I hope you enjoy browsing my corner on the web as much as I enjoy writing it!

Love Always, Liv

  • LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI
  • WHERE ARE YOU FROM? The northern part of Germany.
  • WHEN & WHY DID YOU MOVE HERE? Overwhelmed by post-graduating high school choices, I decided to take one year off and become an Au Pair in July 2012. This journey led me to Wisconsin and one year quickly became two, and now I am a junior in college.
  • BUT YOU DON’T HAVE AN ACCENT! WHEN DID YOU START LEARNING ENGLISH? I started in 3rd grade but my English was horrible and I actually barely graduated my high school english class. Moving here and being forced to speak it every day really helped improve my vocabulary (and pronunciation).
  • WHY WISCONSIN? My Au Pair agency recommended certain families that matched my preferences {one child, love for skiing, having a dog} and the family that fit the bill and I liked most happened to live in WI!
  • DO YOU LIKE IT? Yep!
  • WHAT DO YOU MISS THE MOST? Bakeries, the huge selection of cold cuts and christmas markets!

  • WHY THIS BLOG? Growing up in a small village never gave me the audience I hoped for that would share the same passion for clothes and discovering new places all around the world, which is why I decided to start this blog in the beginning of 2013.
  • DID YOU ALWAYS ENJOY WRITING? Yes! I used to write for our local newspaper and 50+ pages fan fiction stories (nerd!).
  • WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE? Canon T3 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens.

  • I took singing lessons for five years and participated in German Idol when I was 16.
  • I am left-handed.
  • I LOVE traveling! I have been to 15 countries and 23 states in the US and can’t wait to add more to the list in the future!
